Good Sports is an organization that drives equitable access in youth sports. They support children in high-need communities in achieving their greatest potential, both on the field and in life! Jackrabbit has been a proud supporter since 2011 and it's been my privilege to work on a number of projects with them since then.
Equip-a-Kid site & Illustrations
An unfortunate barrier to youth sports access is the cost of equipment alone. To highlight this cost and offer another avenue for people to donate, Good Sports and Jackrabbit created the "Equip-a-Kid" interactive fundraising site.
This interactive tool allows users to select a sport and see how much the equipment for that sport costs. Potential donors can then handpick their favorite pieces of equipment to benefit a kid in need. Donations go directly to funding the new gear chosen. I designed the site's user interface and experience and created the illustrations representing each sport.
After seeing the cost of the various items the user has selected, they may now checkout and offer this total amount as a donation to Good Sports.
Advertising
Similar in concept to the Equip-a-Kid fundraiser, I designed and art directed this advertising campaign that highlighted the cost of each sport. Working with the team at Jackrabbit, we created a grass and dirt stage in our photo studio to photograph these young athletes.
